Standard metallic valves suffer from chemical corrosion, pitting and failure of structure resulting from contact with agents such as concentrated acids, alkalis and solventd. Our FLOWRISE series solves this problem by applying thick seamless anti-corrosive fluoropolymer lining (at least 3mm-5mm thickness) to the body of high-strength cast steel to provide complete chemical isolation at a cost much lower than that of exotic alloys.

FEP & PFA Lined Ball Valves
Ball valves that have a perfectly molded lining both on interior body and sphere. Lining has the grooves for preventing it from getting broken even when working under burst vacuum.
Butterfly valves lined with Teflon
These valves are perfect for isolated large pipes where space is limited. They are equipped with a continuous liner and the butterfly plate and body bore that provides a complete seal and resistance against hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid, and chlorine gas.

Q1: What distinguishes FEP from PFA lining in chemical valves?
A: FEP lining is more suited for processing at temperatures of up to 150°C and protects against nearly all types of the chemical. PFA lining can operate at higher temperatures of up to 200°C and is more durable and flexible, hence more suitable for the heavy thermal cycle and high-purity pharmaceutical process.
Q2: How is it possible to avoid the fluoropolymer lining getting crushed under the vacuum?
A: Specialized dovetail grooves are present in our cast bodies. After the transfer molding process, the FEP/PFA fills the grooves and helps keep the liner fixed to the metal even while under constant vacuum.
